Recent Pet Food Recalls

Our products are not factory produced and not to be confused with Menu foods recalled Companion Dog Food. All Companion One Comfort ingredients are from health food stores or grocery stores,
and nothing from our ingredient list is on the recent recall list of items.
We have fresh, healthy, homemade treats!


Isn't chocolate toxic to dogs?!
That is unfortunately quite true. You are not doing your dog any favors as far as health is concerned when you feed him or her chocolate. Chocolate contains theobromine, a toxicant responsible for causing canine illness. Signs of theobrimine poisoning include vomiting, excessive thirst, diarrhea, restlessness and agitation.These signs usually develop in six to eight hours. Kidney damage, seizures, heart rhythm irregularities and death may result, in severe cases. There is no real antidote for a theobromine overdose. Support and care can be given, and vomiting can be induced if the poisoning is recognized early enough. Obviously the best course of action is not to feed your dog chocolate to begin with. White chocolate, however, follows different rules. Our dog treats are available dipped in white chocolate.

Okay, so is white chocolate safe?
Yes. Regular dark chocolate is made from cacao beans, the source of high levels of theobromine, a caffeine-like substance. White chocolate, on the other hand, is made from cocoa butter, which is safe for dogs. The amount of theobromine in powdered cocoa varies, but it can be quite high. Usually, the darker the chocolate the higher the theobromine content. Our treats are made especially for dogs. We use carob and ONLY white chocolate, ensuring your dog's safety.


Are the pet beds safe?
Yes, they have been made for safety.

Do we add any additives or preservatives in the biscuit and cat treats?
No, our ingredients are fresh and free of nasty chemicals and preservatives.

Can we have an item specially designed for our companion?
Yes, within reason we can design any companion bed you would like.

Will you be designing new beds?
Yes, we design new products frequently.


What is your policy on orders using checks or money orders?
Personal checks are accepted and are subject to a ten day holding period. Money orders are also accepted.
Can you ship your products to Canada?
Yes we can! With additional shipping costs.

Returns and Exchanges


What is your policy for returns or exchanges?

Due to standard health regulations we regret we are unable to accept returns for the following items, all beds, treats, toys, companion clothing and custom orders as they are all final sale.

All items in "JUST For You" Can be returned/exchanged within three business days of receipt for store credit or exchange,
customer is responsible for shipping charges.
What is your policy for cancellations?
Companion One Comfort tries to expedite delivery times on every order within 12 hours of order receipt.
If prior to that time window, you need to cancel or change your order we will do so without charge.
However, once the 12 hour time frame has passed all cancellations and changes will be handled has a return or exchange.
Special custom orders cannot be changed or cancelled at any time.

Generally we use UPS for large orders and USPS for small orders.
If you have a preferred shipping method please contact us at mail@companiononecomfort.net and we will
arrange for your order to be shipped with your preferences.
We ship our products in recycled boxes.

What is your shipping time frame?
Most are processed and shipped within 3 days, custom made items and special requests may take longer.

How will I know if my order has been shipped?
Companion One Comfort will e-mail once your order has been shipped with delivery information.

We now ship to Canada.


If you live in Maine?

If you are a Maine Resident a 5% sales tax will be assessed when ordering

or exchange.
